Integration guide

Connect Zoom to Tenor

Tenor reads completed Zoom cloud-recording transcripts so your authorized AI employees can use meeting context in workflows.

01 · Add

Authorize the Zoom integration.

  1. Sign in to Tenor and select the workspace and AI employee that should receive the transcripts.
  2. Open Integrations, choose Ingestion, and select Zoom.
  3. Select Connect. A Zoom account administrator must approve the requested read-only access.
  4. After Zoom redirects you to Tenor, confirm that the Zoom card shows Connected.

Tenor requests access to list account users and cloud recordings and to read completed meeting transcripts. Tenor does not create, modify, or delete Zoom users, meetings, or recordings.

02 · Use

Let Tenor ingest completed transcripts.

When Zoom reports that a cloud-recording transcript is complete, Tenor retrieves the transcript and stores it for the authorized workspace. Tenor also performs periodic reconciliation to recover normal deliveries that were delayed or missed.

The Zoom account must have cloud recording and audio transcription enabled. Only recordings with a completed transcript can be ingested.

03 · Remove

Disconnect Zoom.

  1. In Tenor, open Integrations → Ingestion → Zoom.
  2. Select Manage, then disconnect the Zoom account.

You can also remove Tenor from the Zoom App Marketplace under Manage → Added Apps. Removing the integration stops future Zoom access. To request deletion of previously ingested Zoom data, email founders@heytenor.com; Tenor may verify your identity and workspace authority first.

04 · Help

Troubleshooting.

If authorization fails, confirm that you are a Zoom account administrator and that cloud recording and audio transcription are enabled. If a completed transcript does not appear, email founders@heytenor.com with your workspace name and the approximate meeting time. Do not send OAuth tokens, API keys, or other secrets.
